Returns, Shipping and FAQ's

Australia Post has been receiving higher volumes of parcels thanks to our new online shopping habits. Pair this with strict distancing rules in their sorting facilities we have now a little extra delay in Australia Post postage times.  Please allow an extra 3-7 days on top of what you would normally expect from Australia Post. Your welcome to email me if your would like clarification on your own time frames kate@heritageblankets.com.au

Here at Heritage Blankets we are a one mama team packing your orders. Packing and posting have not been affected. Strict hygiene rules are always in place that my hands are washed, and that I am well when packing your orders.

I am very proud of the blankets I have created for you. They really are stunning and I am absolutely sure you will fall in love just as much! If however for some reason you are not happy with your purchase I will offer a full refund. Please just return your blanket to me in its original condition within 14 days. Please send me an email at kate@heritageblankets.com.au for further details if needed.

If though you have had your blanket or swaddle customized with embroidery, I am not able to accept refunds or exchanges.

I now have free Postage within Australia. I only use parcel post with Australia Post as they have been so reliable for me.

Please see below for international orders.

I endeavour  to get your blankets out my door and to yours as quickly as I can. But I do know my limits as a one woman team working around her kids and so I have given myself grace by having an up to 5 business day processing time before being sent. I do try really hard though to beat that time because I know the excitement of receiving your blankets in the mail is a good one!

I am now offering worldwide shipping. Place your details in the shipping section of the checkout to see prices. I have included the most popular countries requested, but if your country doesn't come up please don't hesitate to contact me! I can very quickly get you sorted. My email is kate@heritageblankets.com.au . Any Customs or duty fees are the responsibility of the customer.

How big is a Heritage Blanket? Will it be suitable for a cot blanket?

One of the first comments I receive about Heritage Blankets is the Big size they are. Every blanket is a 110 cm x 110 cm size plus the lace and is very similar in size to a cot doona. The blankets are not very heavy though and it would be very suitable as an light cool blanket

Are Heritage Blankets handmade?

Yes they are and boy am I proud of it! Heritage Blankets are not sewn by me but instead by my beautiful ladies on my team right here in my home town Lismore, NSW.  It means that the blessing of this business is spread to more families in that they also get to work around their own schedules while raising their kids.

Are your blankets backed?

Yes they are. The blankets are backed with 100% cotton. On the Floral blankets this will be a plain white cotton material and on the plain colour ones it will be the  same material as the front used for the backing.

How warm are they? Are they suitable for winter?

The blankets are made from a soft and light 100% cotton. They are more suitable for a swaddle or a light snugly blanket then a heavy and warm blanket. But being big they do wrap around very generously and are warm as a swaddle.

What is the difference between your swaddles and blankets?

Quite simply a blanket is backed, so two layers. A swaddle is just one layer. Both have different uses but both look absolutely beautiful.
